Mambo Marci brings many years of dance experience to Mambo Marci Productions. Starting out at a very young age with a passion for ballet, Marci loved performing with Rose Marie Floyd's Contemporary Civic Ballet Company. From there, she was involved with these ventures:

Marci continues her education in Latin dance by attending out-of-town conventions, known as “Congresos de la Salsa”. She has been to Puerto Rico several times, Chicago, Miami and Toronto. It is at these congresses that she learns the latest moves from instructors and performers from all over the world.

Marci has competed locally in several salsa competitions, winning 2nd place and 3rd place trophies. At the 2011 Detroit Salsa Awards, she was nominated as “Best Salsa Instructor—Beginning Level” for her patience and talent for teaching beginning level students.
